Chairman
Kevin is the founder of Irongate Property Limited and the St Laurence group of companies. Prior to establishing the these companies Kevin was a principal of McKenzie Podmore, an economic consulting firm whose clients included the NZ Treasury and Fletcher Challenge. He also had experience as a lending analyst, and consulted on financial and economic issues for clients that included the Rural Banking and Finance Corporation of New Zealand, Radio New Zealand and AA Insurance Limited.
Andrew Walker, M.A. (Hons), MBA
Director
Andrew has held a number of executive positions in the finance and corporate sectors in both New Zealand and internationally. He gained an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business in the United States and has worked in the consulting and private equity sectors. He is also a director of The National Property Trust along with a number of private companies.
Geoffrey (Geoff) McWilliam, BE
Director
Geoff brings extensive financial services and property-based experience to the Board. For the ten year period up until 2005, Geoff was chief executive of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s property activities, managing over $16 billion of assets which included many listed and unlisted property trusts. Prior to this, Geoff spent 23 years with Lend Lease Corporation in a variety of management roles. Geoff’s current directorships include Challenger Listed Investments Limited, Gandel Group and Lend Lease Real Estate Investments Limited. Recent past directorships include Kiwi Income Property Limited and Commonwealth Managed Investments Limited. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of NSW and is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute.
Peter McGuinness
Director
Peter is the CEO of Bluestone Group, and primarily responsible for the Australian and New Zealand operations of Bluestone Capital Management, the group’s asset acquisition and financing division. Bluestone has operated in New Zealand since 2003, and currently manages in excess of NZ$1.6bn in loans secured by commercial and residential properties in Australasia, including assets originated under Bluestone’s securitisation program. Prior to joining Bluestone in 2003, Peter worked in investment banking in the UK specialising in asset finance and securitisation, and more recently as an investment director for the private equity firm, Pacific Investments. Peter is a qualified chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
